Sachverhalte, bei denen sich eine nicht notwendigerweise adaptiv ausgestaltete Vor- oder Nachverarbeitungs-Operation als Funktionsblock im Videocodierungsprozess befindet, z.B. das Vor- oder Nachverarbeiten wird entweder vor der Eingabe in den Videocodierungsprozess oder nach der Ausgabe aus dem Videocodierungsprozess ausgeführt.
Diese Untergruppe ist nur dann relevant, wenn der zu klassifizierende Sachverhalt dazu dient, nichttriviale Details der Vor- oder Nachverarbeitung zu bezeichnen. Ob der Filter dabei adaptiert im Sinne von H04N 19/117 ist oder nicht, bleibt dabei außer Betracht.

This subgroup is of relevance, only if the subject-matter to be classified contributes to define non trivial details of pre- or post-processing, regardless whether the filtering is adapted in the sense of H04N 19/117 or not.
