C12Q 1/6813, klassifiziert werden kann, muss der Klassifizierer aufgrund der Relevanz des Verfahrens entscheiden, ob die Anmeldung in eine diese Gruppen zu klassifizieren ist oder ob die Anmeldung gegebenenfalls sogar in beide Gruppen zu klassifizieren ist. Wenn die Verwendung jedoch der Sequenzierung dient, dann wird die Anmeldung nur in Gruppe C12Q 1/6874 klassifiziert.

If the use of the array is in the context of a method which can be classified in another group of the hybridisation based assays e.g. C12Q 1/6813, the classifier has to decide based on the relevance of the method to classify the application in either one of these groups or even to classify the application in both groups if necessary. However, if the use is for sequencing then the application is only classified in group C12Q 1/6874.
