[DE] Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren, das zur bildgebenden Polarimetrie dient, wobei ein chiploser, passiver Transponder (1), der mehrere Teilflächen (T1-T9) mit unterschiedlicher polarimetrischer Eigenschaft aufweist, mittels Radarstrahlung (R) vollpolarimetrisch beleuchtet wird, mindestens ein polarisationskodiertes Bild (B1-B3) des Transponders (1) anhand der davon reflektierten Radarstrahlung (R) erzeugt wird, und die unterschiedlichen Teilflächen (T1-T9) des Transponders (1) in dem polarisationskodierten Bild (B1-B3) mittels ihrer mindestens einen polarimetrischen Eigenschaft erkannt werden. Ein passiver, chiploser Transponder (1) weist mindestens zwei Teilflächen (T1-T9) mit unterschiedlicher polarimetrischer Struktur (2, &agr;) auf. [EN] The invention relates to a method which serves for imaging polarimetry, wherein a chipless, passive transponder (1) which has a plurality of surface regions (T1-T9) having different polarimetric properties is illuminated fully polarimetrically by radar radiation (R), at least one polarization-encoded image (B1-B3) of the transponder (1) is generated using the radar radiation (R) reflected thereby, and the different surface regions (T1-T9) of the transponder (1) in the polarization-encoded image (B1-B3) can be recognized by their at least one polarimetric property. A passive, chipless transponder (1) has at least two surface regions (T1-T9) having different polarimetric structures (2, &agr;). [FR] L'invention concerne un procédé utilisé en imagerie polarimétrique, selon lequel un transpondeur passif (1) dépourvu de puce, qui comporte plusieurs surfaces partielles (T1-T9) présentant des propriétés polarimétriques différentes, est éclairé en polarimétrie totale au moyen d'un rayonnement radar (R), au moins une image (B1-B9) du transpondeur (1) codée par polarisation est produite au moyen du rayonnement radar (R) réfléchi par ce dernier, et les différentes surfaces partielles (T1-T9) du transpondeur (1) sont identifiées dans l'image (B1-B3) codée par polarisation au moyen de leur/leurs propriétés polarimétriques.
