[EN] The present invention relates to a use of a plurality of endogenous target metabolites for predicting a likelihood of an onset of a sepsis from a biological sample of a mammalian subject in vitro, wherein said endogenous target metabolites have a molecular mass less than 1500 Da and are selected from the group of oxysterols. [FR] La présente invention concerne l'utilisation d'une pluralité de métabolites cibles endogènes pour prévoir une probabilité d'apparition d'une sepsie à partir d'un échantillon biologique chez un sujet mammifère in vitro, lesdits métabolites cibles endogènes ayant une masse moléculaire inférieure à 1 500 Da et étant choisis parmi le groupe des oxystérols. |
