57 Zusammenfassung AB [EN] The present invention relates to a method and kit for in vitro diagnosing a complex disease such as cancer, in particular, acute myeloid leukemia (AML), colon cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer; transient ischemic attack (TIA), ischemia, in particular stroke, hypoxia, hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, perinatal brain damage, hypoxic- ischemic encephalopathy of neotatals asphyxia; demyelinating disease, in particular, white-matter disease, periventricular leukoencephalopathy, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer and Parkinson's disease; in a biological sample. For the diagnosis, use is made of measuring at least two different species of biomolecules and classifying the results by means of suitable classifier algorithms and other statistical procedures. With the present invention, a significant improvement of the reliability of, e.g. expression profiles alone, are achieved. In other words, in a defined collective, an up to 100% accurate positive diagnosis could be achieved, which renders the method of the present invention superior over the prior art.
[FR] La présente invention porte sur un procédé et sur un coffret pour le diagnostic in vitro d'une maladie complexe telle que le cancer, en particulier, une leucémie myéloïde aiguë (AML), un cancer du côlon, un cancer du rein, un cancer de la prostate ; un accident ischémique transitoire (TIA), une ischémie, en particulier un accident vasculaire cérébral, une hypoxie, une encéphalopathie hypoxique ischémique, un dommage au cerveau périnatal, une encéphalopathie hypoxique ischémique d'une ashyxie néonatale ; une maladie de démyélinisation, en particulier une maladie de la substance blanche, une leucoencéphalopathie périventriculaire, la sclérose en plaques, la maladie d'Alzheimer et la maladie de Parkinson, dans un échantillon biologique. Pour le diagnostic, une utilisation est faite d'une mesure d'au moins deux espèces différentes de biomolécules et d'un classement des résultats au moyen d'algorithmes de classificateur appropriés et autres procédures statistiques. Avec la présente invention, une amélioration significative de la fiabilité, par exemple, de profils d'expression seuls, sont obtenus. En d'autres termes, dans un collectif défini, un diagnostic positif précis jusqu'à 100 % peut être obtenu, ce qui rend le procédé de la présente invention supérieur par rapport à l'état antérieur de la technique.
