57 Abstract AB [EN] An epicyclic gear stage for a wind turbine gearbox including a sun gear, at least two planet gears, engaged with the sun gear, an annulus gear, a first planet carrier flange connected to one side of at least two of the planet gears, and a second planet carrier flange connected to the other side of least two of the planet gears. Torque from the wind turbine rotor is transferred via a torque transfer part connected to at least one of the first and second planet carrier flanges at one or more torque transferring zones and the one or more torque transferring zones are located between a first and a second plane, the planes being substantially perpendicular to an axis of rotation of the sun gear.
