57 Abstract AB [EN] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple light-receiving optical system having good image formation quality for an object detection photoelectronic sensor.SOLUTION: A photoelectronic sensor 10 for detecting an object in a monitored area 20 comprises: a light emitter 22 for emitting a plurality of beams 26 split from each other; a light receiver 34 including a plurality of light receiving elements 34a for generating a respective light reception signal from a beam 30 reflected on the object; a light-receiving optical system 32 arranged in front of the light receiver 34; and an evaluation unit 46 for acquiring information on the object from the light reception signal.
