Abstract |
AB |
[EN] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass suitable for being chemically toughened and having improved properties.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an alkali-aluminosilicate glass containing SiOof 47.5 wt.% to 55 wt.%, AlOof 21 wt.% to 27.5 wt.% and NaO of 12 wt.% to 16 wt.%. The molar ratio of AlOand NaO is 1:0.9 to 1:1.2. The glass has high hardness and high surface strength after its chemical toughening, whereby has extremely high scratch resistance, and its use as a display glass is promoted. A further preferred feature of the glass is its much lower viscosity for this group of glasses. |
