57 Abstract AB [EN] PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply measure the quantity of the state of biological cells in no need of the expensive positioning by boring a fine hole on the cell membrane within the cell-supporting range at an interval from its edge and measuring the quantity of the state of biological cells adhering and accumulating through the fine hole (pore). SOLUTION: In the measurement of at least one of quantities of the states of biological cells 3 adhering in the supporting range 5 in the culture medium where at least one minute hole is bored on the cell membrane of the cell 3 in order to measure the quantity of a state, the cell 3 is placed on the base plate 21 of the microscope stage 4 and a fine hole is bored in the supporting range 5 of the cell 3 at an interval from the edge by the electric poring using a test probe comprising the measuring electrode 6 and the electric fine hole- boring electrode 7. Then, the cell potential is measured using at least one reference electrode that can contact through the fine hole with the measuring electrode 6 and the culture medium. Thus, this measuring method can avoid the manual, expensive positioning operation of the cell to be inspected with a fine hollow needle.
