A gap closing device 28 operates to at least partially close a gap 22 between the seat base 20 and a component 18 of the vehicle located adjacent to the seat base 20. The gap closing device 28 comprises a mobile part 36 which moves into a gap closing position when the vehicle seat 14 is occupied by the seat occupant 38. |
