[EN] A dark-coloured hot-air balloon (10) with an open bottom end. Said balloon may be made of webs (12-14) of thin black plastic joined together by means of adhesive strips (16-18). The air in the balloon is continuously reheated by solar radiation. This craft is provided with an electric fan (34), powered by a battery (36), mounted in a protective housing (56) and secured to suspension beams (42) connected to the load ring (20) of the balloon. Said fan (34) can quickly inflate or deflate the balloon (10) to alter the cruising altitude. An electronic unit (38) is provided for controlling the speed and direction of rotation of the motor. Unmanned balloons are recoverable. Said balloon may be used for recreational purposes, for high-altitude scientific prospecting, or for launching aircraft or spacecraft.
[FR] <P>Cette montgolfière est un ballon (10) ouvert à sa base, réalisé au moyen de lés (12-14) en plastique mince de couleur noire, assemblés au moyen de rubans adhésifs (16-18). L'air du ballon est constamment réchauffé par le rayonnement solaire. L'appareil est équipé d'un ventilateur (34) à larges pales (32) entraîné par un moto-réducteur électrique (30) alimenté par batterie (36). Le ventilateur (34) est adapté à rapidement gonfler ou à dégonfler le ballon (10). Un dispositif électronique (38) de contrôle de la vitesse et du sens de rotation du moteur est prévu.<BR/>L'altitude de croisière d'une telle montgolfière est de la sorte constamment contrôlable à volonté par son pilote.<BR/>Application: Montgolfière de loisir.</P> |
