[EN] The method involves receiving a path calculation request comprising a body (50), information specifying an inter-domain loop detection criterion by indicating a granularity level (GL) e.g. area, of domains, and information specifying a list of domains, having the granularity level, successively traversed by the request. A succeeding path calculation entity i.e. succeeding path computation element, is selected such that the request is transmitted to the entity relative to the criterion and the list of domains to prevent repetition of a domain sequence having the granularity level of the list. An independent claim is also included for a computer program comprising instructions to perform a method for preventing and avoiding an inter-domain loop in domains supporting a path calculation entity architecture. |
