[EN] The invention relates to a method for producing polyalkyl(semi)metallates involving the reaction of (semi)metal alcoholates of general formula (I) RM(OR<1>)3, wherein: M represents Si, Ti, Zr or Hf; R represents C1-C10 alkyl, C3-C10 alkenyl, phenyl, phenyl-C1-C4 alkyl, C5-C10 cycloalkyl, C5-C10 cycloalkyl-C1-C4-alkyl, whereby the aforementioned groups can contain one or more substituents selected among halogen, C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkyl halide or C1-C4 alkoxy, and R also represents a group O-Si(R<2>)3, wherein R<2> represents C1-C4 alkyl, C1-C4 alkyl halide or C1-C4 alkoxy, or R represents C1-C4 alkoxy, and; R<1> represents C1-C4 alkyl. These (semi)metal alcoholates are reacted with the anhydride II of an aliphatic C2-C4 monocarboxylic acid in a quantity ranging from 0.8 to 1.2 mol per mol of (semi)metal alcoholate I in the presence of water and removing at least 80 %, with regard to the theoretic quantity, of C1-C4 alkyl ester III of the aliphatic C2-C4 monocarboxylic acid, this C1-C4 alkyl ester III forming during the reaction. The invention also relates to polyalkyl(semi)metallates, which can be obtained by reacting a (semi)metal alcoholate of general formula (I) according to said method, and which have a numerical mean of the molecular weight Mn = 1600 dalton. The invention also relates to the use of polyalkyl semimetallates of this type. |
