[DE] Vorrichtung und Verfahren zur Ermittlung einer Widerstandsverteilung eines Lichtbogens (4), insbesondere innerhalb eines Leistungsschalters, wobei mittels mindestens eines Sensors (1) zur Ermittlung der Widerstandsverteilung das elektrische Feld des Lichtbogens (4) gemessen wird. [EN] The device has sensors (1) determining resistance distribution by measuring electric field of an arc (4). An axial arcing chamber (3) is arranged between two electrodes (2) for firing the arc, and the sensors are vertically or ring shapely arranged at a periphery of the arcing chamber and attached between the electrodes in a radial direction and in an axial direction of the arcing chamber. Plastic i.e. PTFE, and metallic hollow cylinders (5, 6) are arranged around the arcing chamber. A field lens is arranged in front of the sensors. An independent claim is also included for a method for determining resistance distribution of an arc within a circuit breaker. |
