Hierzu ist vorgesehen, in die herk�mmliche Mausunterlage einen Schriftpr�fer f�r Normalstifte, einen elektronischen Sensor f�r Fingerabdr�cke und einen Kartenleser zu integrieren. [EN] A mouse pad used with a computer system may be used with a conventional mouse for cursor control, but is also constructed to provide additional functions. In particular the pad is produced with a resistive layer that allows a fingerprint reading to be made for identification. In addition a region of the pad allows a signature and a smart card identification code to be entered.
