57 Abstract AB [DE] Ein System zur schnellen Evakuierung aus hohen Gebäuden bei Brand- und Gefahrensituationen, bei dem Seile an den Außenwänden im Gefahrenfall ausgerollt werden, die am Ende mit aufblasbaren Sprunginseln versehen sind. Die Personen gleiten an Haltesystemen an diesen Seilen abwärts und ein Klemm- und Führungssystem sorgt dafür, dass eine kritische Fallgeschwindigkeit nicht überschritten wird.
[EN] The invention relates to a device for rapid evacuation of people from edifices on fire or in other dangerous situations. The inventive device consists of an abseiling device which slides downward by the force of gravity on a downward hanging rope upon engagement. A braking device ensures that the speed at which the abseiling device slides downward does not exceed a given maximum value. The rope is secured or can be secured on a pivotally articulated extension arm which is firmly connected to the edifice. The abseiling device can be engaged and disengaged by means of a rapid clamping device.
