[DE] Die vorliegende Anmeldung offenbart eine digitale Anzeigeeinrichtung für ein Kraftfahrzeug, mit einer digitalen Einrichtung zum Erzeugen eines Bildwerts und eines Sequenzwertes, mit einer Vorrichtung zum Senden des Bildwerts und des Sequenzwerts von der digitalen Einrichtung an einen ersten Mikrocontroller sowie zum Senden des Bildwerts und des Sequenzwertes von der digitalen Einrichtung an einen zweiten Mikrocontroller und mit einer Vorrichtung zum Übergeben des Bildwerts und des Sequenzwertes vom ersten Mikrocontroller an eine Anzeigevorrichtung. Weiterhin weist die Anzeigeeinrichtung eine optische Lesevorrichtung zum Ermitteln eines auf der Anzeigevorrichtung dargestellten Anzeigewerts und zum Senden des Anzeigewerts an den zweiten Mikrocontroller auf. Der zweite Mikrocontroller enthält eine Vergleichseinheit zum Vergleichen des Anzeigewerts mit dem Sequenzwert und eine Ausgabeeinheit zum Ausgeben eines vorbestimmten Fehlersignals, wenn der ermittelte Anzeigewert nicht mit dem Sequenzwert übereinstimmt.
