57 Abstract AB [EN] A magnetic rotary device comprises rotors arranged in parallel close to each other, and rotatably supported. The rotors are coupled to each other to turn in the opposite directions. Along the outer peripheries of the rotors are arranged permanent magnets of the same number maintaining an equal distance in the circumferential direction. Magnetic poles on one side of these permanent magnets are directed toward the outside in the radial direction of the rotor and magnetic poles on the other side are directed toward the inside in the radial direction to the rotor. The magnetic poles located on the outside in the radial direction of the rotor being all of the same polarity. When the rotors are rotated being interlocked to each other, the permanent magnets in one rotor rotate being slightly ahead in rotational phase relative to the permanent magnets of the other rotor that form pairs with the above mentioned permanent magnets. One of the permanent magnets in one rotor is replaced with an electromagnet. The polarity of a magnet pole located on the outside in the radial direction of the electromagnet can be changed by chanqing the direction of conduction to the electromagnet.
