[EN] The gas flow monitoring circuit is for a hot gas welding instrument, which prevents the heating element from increasing to unacceptable temperatures. It responds immediately to a break in the supply tube. The circuit consists of an adjusting potentiometer (3), an integrated circuit (4), a cold conductor (5), a triac switching element (6) and a heating element (7). The temp. of the cold conductor increases its specific resistance. This is used to cut out the supply voltage to the triac. |
