[EN] The length of the tape played may be measured. A first shaft is allocated to the tape reel (11, 13), and there is a second shaft (12). This shaft is independent from the first shaft and it is coupled with the tape (10). It delivers pulses depending on their angle of rotation. The pulses are counted and they are compared with each other and the time played or remaining to be played is calculated from the pulse ratio. |
