[EN] In a method and a device for measuring the profile of working rolls 4, 5, at least one recording sensor 1 detects and represents, during rolling, the characteristic radiation of the rolling stock 3 and/or the radiation reflected from the rolling stock 3 and also the radiation of a working roll 4 in the area of the roll gap, and the roll profile under load of at least one working roll 4 is determined from the representation on the basis of the contrast between the rolling stock 3 and the working roll 4. Preferably, the empty roll gap is additionally illuminated by a radiation source 12 in the rolling breaks, the illuminated roll gap is represented on the recording sensor 1, and the current roll camber of the working rolls 4, 5 and also the no-load roll gap are determined from the representation. The prepared roll profile under load of one working roll 4 and additionally the profile of the second working roll 5 under load calculated from the measurements can be used for more accurate calculation of the profile of the rolling stock 3. <IMAGE> |
