[EN] A close fitting garment, especially a swimsuit, has panels of elastic stretch fabric joined at seams (21,22), said seams (21,22) are arranged to promote a tensioned fit of the garment around the waist region, said arrangement comprising at the right and the left side of the garment, at the front and/or back of the garment, an upper tensioning seam (21) and a lower tensioning seam (22), which converge at the respective side of the waist region, the upper tensioning seam (21) extending medially and upwardly from the convergence at the side of the waist to the neck region, and the lower tensioning seam (22) extending from said convergence at the side of the waist medially and downwardly onto the pelvic region. <IMAGE> |
