57 Abstract AB [DE] Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine zum Einsatz in Rotationsdruckmaschinen als Rolle oder als Druckzylinder vorgesehene Zylinderkonstruktion aus konzentrischen Zylinderrohren in Sandwichbauweise mit einem Außenrohr 1 und mindestens einem darin angeordneten Innenrohr 3, wobei in dem Leerraum zwischen Außenrohr 1 und Innenrohr 3 eine Schaumfüllung 2 angeordnet ist. Ein weiterer Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung des Druckzylinders und seine Verwendung.
[EN] The printing cylinder for rotary printing machines comprises an outer cylinder (1) and at least one concentric inner cylinder (3) separated from the outer cylinder by a foam filler material (2). Also claimed are a method for producing such a cylinder, and a use of the latter. The method involves positioning of the inner and outer cylinders, in-situ foaming of a foamable material through heating, and closure of the cylinder ends.
