57 Abstract AB [DE] Bei einem Verfahren zur Geräuschbestimmung eines von einer ausgedehnten Schallquelle abgestrahlten Geräusches mittels wenigstens eines Luftschallaufnehmers, vorzugsweise mittels eines Kunstkopfmikrofons, wird vorgeschlagen, daß man für vorgebbare Frequenzbereiche eines Schallereignisses zusätzlich zu den von dem wenigstens einen Luftschallaufnehmer erfaßten von der Schallquelle abgestrahlten Luftschallsignalen durch wenigstens einen Körperschallaufnehmer die von der Schallquelle abgestrahlten Körperschallsignale erfaßt und eine Kreuzkorrelation zwischen den Luftschallsignalen und den Körperschallsignalen durchführt.
[EN] the method involves using at least one sound in air transducer, pref. with a head microphone. For predefined frequency ranges of a sound event the air sound signals radiated by the source are detected by the air sound transducer; the sound in solids radiated by the source are additionally detected using a sound in solids detector, e.g. distributed accelerometers or a laser vibrometer, and cross-correlated with the sound in air signals
