57 Abstract AB [DE] Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von nanoskaligen Titandioxid-Teilchen, die mit einem Oxid, Hydroxid oder Oxidhydroxid von Al, Ce, Zr und/oder Si beschichtet sind, bei dem das enzymatische Fällungsmittelsystem Urease/Harnstoff verwendet wird. Diese beschichteten Titandioxid-Teilchen können eine mittlere Teilchengröße von unter 50 nm aufweisen, wobei die Beschichtung einen effektiven Schutz vor photokatalytischen Reaktionen bewirkt. Die beschichteten Teilchen eignen sich insbesondere als UV-Absorber in einer transparenten organischen Matrix.
[EN] The invention relates to a method for producing nanoscale titanium dioxide particles which are coated with an oxide, a hydroxide or an oxide hydroxide of Al, Ce, Zr and/or Si. According to said method, the enzymatic precipitant system urease/urea is used. Said coated titanium dioxide particles can have an average size of less than 50 nm, the coating providing effective protection against photocatalytic reactions. The coated particles are especially suitable as UV absorbers in a transparent organic matrix.
