[EN] A logical stereometric toy is assembled from a plurality of suspension elements (3) and play elements (10; 11; 12) to form a unit which has the basic shape of an octahedron (1). The suspension and play elements (3; 10; 11; 12) each belong to a set (5; 6; 7; 8) within which they are mutually identical. The play elements (10; 11; 12) are so designed that they are suspended with the suspension elements (3) on a central body (2) located in the geometrical centre of the octahedron. The octahedron (1) can be twisted in twelve layers (66; 67) on eight twisting surfaces (55) about four axes (49; 50; 51; 52), these axes forming a three-dimensional axis intersection. As a result of the sequence of different twists, the positions of the individual play elements (10; 11; 12) within all groups (6; 7; 8) can be exchanged, so that a very great number of variations exists. <IMAGE> |
